For Health and Peace of Mind
The Reimer Clinic exists to save lives. Too many people die of colon cancer who could have been saved with proper preventive screening. One reason why many people do not get screened is fear of the test or a worry about embarrassment, inconvenience or discomfort. These concerns are real and they present a challenge that each person will hopefully overcome by themselves or with the help of loved ones. Be assured that our staff and our physicians deal with colonoscopy patients and their families every day. We have extensive medical experience and we extend a personal, reassuring and respectful atmosphere in which we can provide you with screening services in a maximum of comfort.
The second impediment to colon cancer screening is limited access to endoscopy facilities. We are the Golden Triangle's first outpatient endoscopy facility. As a single-purpose facility, we provide fast access to quality care. Our waiting lists are short. We believe in world-class patient service and have the highest standards of quality medical care.
All Canadian patients are welcome to use our centre. Services covered by OHIP are "free" for patients with provincial health insurance.
Many local and regional gastroenterologists and general surgeons provide care for you at our facility. Our physicians are:
| Dr. Douglas Denton MD FRCSC FACS General Surgeon |
Dr. James Hardwick MD FRCSC General Surgeon |
Dr. M.A.R. Khan MD MRCP FRCPC Gastroenterologist |
| Dr. Rafik Abdel-Malik MD FRCSC General Surgeon |
