The Reimer Clinic is pleased to offer rapid access to colonoscopy and gastroscopy. This generally means a procedure within two weeks of contacting us.
To qualify you need to be:
- Generally healthy, and
- Have a straightforward reason for needing a procedure.
What to do:
- Have your family doctor fax the referral form to us.
- Call The Reimer Clinic at 519-957-9730 or visit us during our office hours (07:30 to 16:30 weekdays) to complete the Patient Registration Package. You can sign the consent form after you have met with your physician and asked any questions. You do not need an appointment to submit these forms. You may also fax the documents to us at 519-957-9732.
- Follow the bowel preparation instructions for the test(s) you will have:
- Colonoscopy
- Gastroscopy: see "How do I prepare for gastroscopy?"
- Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Attend your appointment. You will need someone to drive you home afterwards.
